Planning a Beta Bar Sydney Wedding? Beta Bar is one of the most incredible, earthy event and wedding spaces in Sydney, and picked for couples wanting a spectacular modern venue that gives a nod to crumbling castles and mills found in Europe (looking for something more further south? Check out these small wedding venues). Beta Bar is a French warehouse styled wedding venue that oozes rustic charm.
A Beta Bar Sydney Wedding can host up to 200 guests cocktail style, or 160 people seated, and if a dance-floor is part of the layout, 120 seated. Different configurations of the space can be hired, depending on whether you’re hosting an intimate or small wedding here, or the second coming of the party-apocalypse (i’m sure the first was hosted by Prince somewhere).
There’s only one answer to the question of what similar wedding venues are to Beta Bar out there, and that answer is (for better or worse), located in Victoria. The historic Fyansford Paper Mills are as good as it gets in a venue that appears to be a second cousin of Beta Bar, with it’s stunning exposed brick, these nearly untouched Old Paper Mills are the ideal wedding venue just a short road trip out of Melbourne City.
For more information on Fyansford Paper Mill, check out this Fyansford Paper Mill Wedding by Truffleduck Events.

Carol and Dave had a beautiful intimate Superintendent’s residence Centennial Park Wedding in New South Wales, with and open invitation to their entire community of young and old. There’s always an extra unique and joy in celebrations where kids are invited (see kids at weddings for why), and the theatre that ensues is like nothing else.
Carol and David used this unique little corner of Centennial Park to host their wedding, at The Superintendent’s residence, and all the celebration, love and jenga-disappointment that came with it.
Also, every time I see the the word Superintendent…
Enjoy the images from their day, and while you’re at it, check out this Sydney Theatre Company wedding and Blue Mountains Elopement.

Designed by architect James barnet, the Superintendent’s Residence was completed in 1892 at a construction cost of 1500 pounds. One of the more somewhat secret places within Centennial Park to host a wedding, the heritage building offers an incredibly beautiful backdrop, and can be easily scaled for celebrations of all sizes.

It’s not all that often you get the chance to be swept into the wild world of consummate performers and their crew at Sydneys iconic Pier One wedding venue. Jane and Michael, incredibly eminent players in the music and theatre scene (Jane, travelling the world as a touring violinist and filmmaker, and Michael, amongst other things hand-picked by Brian May to front the Queen musical), had their Sydney Theatre Company wedding in a day of love, ceremony, and all the performative brilliance that goes along with having your extended community made up of artists and thespians.
Wild winds nearly blowing us off the pier, leading into late night anarchy with the Sydney Harbour Bridge as the backdrop in this brilliant warehouse Theatre Bar at the End of the Wharf wedding, and what a beautiful privilege it was to be the very two eyes to make record of it all.
As a destination wedding photographer i’m hired to photograph weddings all around the world , and that includes anywhere in Australia.
